I collect them and plant them to start another garden or replace Plants that have been desimated by bugs or varnents.
Irises, Lilies - I even found a pod on a Yucca plant - something I have never seen before. (not pictured here.

    I can't imagine what would be more rewarding for a gardener than growing your own plants from seed.

    We also harvest our seeds every year, As of now we have harvested thousands of seeds for next years garden along with trading and suppling my daughter with her flower garden also.
