Growing Dwarf Iris

The first iris to open are always the dwarf varieties. Low to the ground they are excellent for rock gardens, scree beds and borders. Such undemanding plants, cold hardy, drought tolerant and deer resistant. Perfect for my conditions. For more info about these great plants visit:

Sensible Gardening and Living on Sep 03, 2013Yes Nancy, the German dwarf iris are extremely drought tolerant which is why they work so well for me in my water starved garden.
