Growing Dwarf Iris

The first iris to open are always the dwarf varieties. Low to the ground they are excellent for rock gardens, scree beds and borders. Such undemanding plants, cold hardy, drought tolerant and deer resistant. Perfect for my conditions. For more info about these great plants visit:

At only about 8 inches tall dwarf iris are perfect for the rock garen.
The German dwarf iris are ideal for the low water garden. (xeriscape)
The colour combinations are endless, easy to become a collector.
