DIY Wall Art Canvas Poster

3 Materials
Wall Art……This was a fun project and only took a couple of hours. I decided to create my poster of places that our family has traveled, but you could make it whatever interest you. Maybe it would be your favorite cities or even cities that you hope to visit. Just have fun with it.
FIRST I MADE A LIST OF VACATION SPOTS OUR FAMILY HAS VISITED.

Also, since I was going to have it printed out at my local office supply store, I checked what sizes they offered.
I decided to make the poster 25 x 36. You will need a canvas board the size of your poster. You can check the canvas sizes on line if you buy from Joann Fabric or Hobby Lobby. I also checked my office supply store to see what size posters were available for printing.
Paint your canvas edges black. You will use mod podge to glue the poster to your canvas. Spread a thin layer of the mod podge over the entire front surface of your canvas board.

So now I had my size I need to create my poster image. There are lots of ways to create your image, with word, powerpoint, microsoft picture and online sites like canva and picmonkey. I used picmonkey for this project.

Line up the top of the poster with the canvas. Begin rolling out the poster and smooth with hand over top of poster as you go to remove air bubbles.
Add a layer to cover your poster. Mod Podge dries quickly so you will see how nice your poster looks in about 30-40 minutes.

I would recommend letting the canvas dry overnight before hanging.

Wow, love your post. Wall art plays a very major role in home decorating. Last week I had bought one blue lake canvas print at Find the Essence of Joy store.
