Meg on Sep 16, 2016It really depends on the type of hydrangea plant you have. Consult the web to identify your plant before pruning. Some like to be trimmed in spring, others in fall. Some like aggressive pruning, others prefer that you simply clip the buds. It also depends on how overgrown your plant may be and the size you would like to maintain.Helpful Reply
