Choosing a paint color for a kitchen

My kitchen has dark cherry cabinets with Steller beige Silstone countertops with silver mica flecks in it to give some sparkle.
I have hardwood floors. I have café curtains with a rooster design with blue as the primary color, along with yellow, red, green, white. Black appliances.
I would like my kitchen to look warm and cozy, but not dark and dirty. Fine line!
I am not sure what color to paint my walls.
Dining room is a soft grayblue color. Trim throughout is white.Hallways are soft cream.
I have leaned towards a soft warm yellow...but which one?

Help answer this question...if not yellow...what other colors would look good with my cabinets and countertops? Soft brown?

I would think a rich creamy tan would be beautiful with the cabinets and counter tops. I soft celery green would also cheer it up and keep it from looking dark-ish. I am usually not a fan of green, but with dark cherry cabinets, celery green is very smart looking.
