After pricing hanging pot racks I decided that I would just make one of my own. I did this project in about 40 minutes for under $16. It looks great, is functional, and it freed up valuable cabinet space!
It came out great and I can take it with me if I move without leaving any visible damage.
1-½” 5 ft conduit - $1.652-½” two Hole Strap $.568-1/8” 8 Hooks $5.046-½” S Hooks $2.362-3” S Hooks $2.361 Red Duct Tape $3.47. TOTAL =$15.44
I mounted the wrapped rod on the top of the cabinet like this.
I have to get a 4" S hook to go where that oddball pan is because the pan for that spot has a larger handle than the others.
Enjoyed the project?

I like it so much I am going to buy a set of pots to hang as I have the same configuration over my sink. After I find my pots I will find material for my curtains to match the pots.

The configuration over my sink is also the same. I've taken a bamboo stalk, put it on the tops of the cabinets then hung chimes from it. With the windows open I get a musical breezes, not 5o forget ... it's pretty!!
