I found this piece on the side of the road... although I don't have a finished product yet I've posted about my progress. See the full post here... http://www.ccmcafeeperspective.com/2013/09/unfinished-business.html

I would have left it as it was and saved it's character.

Back when the kids were small and lived home, we had nice, store bought furniture. Little by little, as each child left, I sent enough furniture with each to get started in their new places. LOL My plan ? To never buy another piece of furniture from a Furniture Store again ! I build, repurpose, scrounge, yard sale and retro-fit anything I need, and I love it so much more ! I dragged home a piano that I'm dismantling to make a kitchen bar and other things from, I just made a sewing table/cabinet from an old dry sink and parts from an old desk...I'm on a roll ! I also now sell a lot of pieces, and take orders for more ! LOL KEEP DUMPSTER_DIVING !

@Jossi... that is awesome! It is a great way to be creative! I need to start selling things because I have no more room in my house for the things I keep picking up!
