Raised Beds Can Be Made in Cool Shapes and Patterns

Most raised beds are, to put it honestly, boring. They can be made in interesting shapes and set in formal patterns. I also think that taking some of the corners off makes it easier to walk around and work around them--this is one of the only places I cut corners ;). I used half-lap joinery that makes the corners look like a log cabin and are more secure and allows layers to be screwed together more easily. The joinery is more complicated than ends butted or mitered together, especially at the angled corners, but the these will hold up better. I believe things should be functional and beautiful.

Cool idea, you're right, raised beds can be super boring like mine. I never thought about getting creative with the layout. I'd like to see these in use. I am sure they look amazing.
