Where to find old windows to paint.

I live in N.E. Georgia and have been looking for old windows and can.t find any. Please help. I want to paint and decorate them for Christmas. Please help. Dawn Wallace

At least in St. Louis there are shops that demo old houses and resell materials. Usually cheap.

Is there a Habitat ReStore anywhere nearby? I have seen old windows there pretty cheap.

@Dawn Wallace check your area on-line for recycled house parts, or salvage yards. Sometimes if you drive around on garbage day you may find them at the side of the road. You could also check with house demolition companies or window replacement companies to see if you could score some. Good luck.

There is a store on Hwy 53 that has a bunch of them outside. east of Hwy 400 in Forsyth county.

Come to Vermont! There's just so much stuff available for up-cycling! Maybe it's not such a practical idea...but if you're ever coming up for skiing or the foliage, be prepared to come home with a car full of treasures for your projects!
