I was at Goodwill and saw this light fixture. It was a display from LOWES, but donated to Goodwill and was just put out. There are 2 of the loop keys missing.
Its so nice and simple, but can this be use for over dining table, which I would love. Or better over sink area?
See, from Lowes & has display on it too.
Price at Lowes- $7.99 - AT Goodwill $9.99 - Oh well.
This is the problem though...missing ....
...2 of these loop keys to hold in place. Is it easy to find new replacements? I have 7 days to return.

This is the table that I would put it over. I want a more low key, country farmhouse feel, but not overly done, I have a contemporary home.

What a neat light fixture @Anna. I'd take it with you to Lowe's and see if they have something that will work in place of the missing keys. They have allot of odd fittings in the hardware department and they just might have something that would work. If not the exact thing, then just buy enough to replace them all the same.

Yeah, you still got a real bargain there. I bet if you can find one of those old-fashioned dudes who knows all about hardware, he'll figure something out for you! Good luck with that lovely light!

@Linda Weeks - thanks I wish I knew about such stuff. I guess $10.00 is so bad.

@Anna Ibarra what a lovely fixture. I am sure if you went to Lowes you could replace the missing pieces or at least obtain the contact number for the company that made it and get replacement pieces. Or you could go to a hardware store to find something to replace them with - we have a local store that carries everything - never had a problem getting parts there. You may have to spray paint to make it all match, but worth the effort.

If you can't find anything that matches maybe you could replace them all with something similar, there's no harm in trying because it's a beautiful lamp. Lily C Canada

Thanks Gail, so I should keep it, I do like it. I did go to Lowes, it's no longer in stock, and they don't carry those kind of parts. But you know I will go to a lights fixture store, so thank you so much.

@Anna Ibarra can Lowes tell you who the manufacturer is and how to contact them?

This may sound crazy but try taking a very up close pic, then going to the biggest hardware store you can find and matching it as closely as possible. If the finish isn't right but the shape is, then try painting the new hardware, then coloring it with black sharpie or shoe polish or Annie Sloan dark stain, then rubbing a little stain on the rest of the fixture to blend in. IF you can't find hardware to match closely enough, consider a couple of rings from a gum ball machine, or party supply store, glue with E6000, which holds anything to anything! But you may have to paint the total fixture silver or brass or oil rubbed bronze to make rings blend in. OH, an upholstery place usually has rings like that.
