LOL, UK and U of L best in-state rivalry!!! Love the project ❤️❤️ would be cute to put the school mascot or initials on top of the one bottle cap in that city. Been a BBN member for years, now my granddaughter is a Sophomore at U of L! I must be a double dipper now. Go Cats!💙 Go Cards!❤️🖤

I LOVE this project!!!! I have a Kentucky guest room that I think I will make this for. It has a hunt scene border with our historical stone wall in the background. I have a KY poster above the bed displaying KY memorabilia like a UK Jersey, a limp of coal, a bottle of bourbon, a thoroughbred and blanket of roses, a trophy, tobacco, and other items, I have two leather covered horse statues, a Ky pillow with U of K , U of L, a cardinal, a wildcat, tobacco, the word KY, outline of our state and other KY memorabilia embroidered on it which my husband splurged on from Two Chicks and Company in Lexington, and a small red sign that I found when Home Goods opened in Nicholasville. It has a star and the words, “The Vineyard”, stenciled in white. The Vineyard is an area in Jessamine County where we raised our children. My husband was the mayor of Nicholasville. He lost to a man named Russ Meyer. Russ’s wife owns Two Chicks and Company. When I told my husband that I saw a pillow that I was just dying to have, but it was too expensive; he called Russ’s wife. She told John that she would drop it off at our house just before they went to midnight mass with their two children on Christmas Eve. This tells others what Ky people are truly like. I’m reminded of their kindness and the great state that we live in every time I go in our guest room. Kentuckians are very proud of our state and our neighbors. Thank you so much for sharing this project. I have one empty wall that was just waiting for this. Of course, I will definitely have to include the bottle top from soft drink created and made in Winchester, KY, Ale 8 1.
