I'm having a problem getting motor oil and bubble gum out of my carpet

KMS Woodworks on Sep 21, 2013Not sure how motor oil gets inside the house? but some heavy duty detergent is about the best bet. the key is to, repeat, repeat. with a good wet vac rinse. Motor oil is about the nastiest stuff every and you may never get it all out. gum can be cleaned with a Ice to harden and get most of the chunks out, then just a dash of WD 40 and massage it out with your fingers....this will then need to be cleaned with some detergent to get out the WD.Helpful Reply
