I found this tired dresser at a garage sale by my place. My husband hated it, but I saw its beauty right away!
So when I was able to get all my supplies together, I ran to get my favourite paint: CHALK PAINT!!!!

I love garage sales! You never know what you're gonna find! This time, I found this damaged dresser.
I removed the metal pieces pulling the nails with the back of a hammer carefully
Next, I filled all the nail holes with wooden filler. You can apply it with the metal spatula, I rather use my own fingers.
I just put the handles back on, because I found that it was perfect the way it was already.
...And after, Scandinavian pink for the exterior..love this color!!!!
It looked lovely just like that, but not quite how I wanted it to look!
So I waxed with antique wax to give it this brownish tone
And then I sanded it just a bit in the corners and the handles to show the metal and a bit of pink
After a few days in the garage to let the wax dry, I found it a home in the living room!
Enjoyed the project?
