I pulled this cabinet out of the trash. My hubby thought I was crazy, but I wanted to try to redo it.
Had to remove the top, remove lots of contact paper.
The inside had to be redone as well - the drawer was in good shape but the slider need to be put back in place and the bottom (floor) of the cabinet inside was completely missing and had to be replaced.
I wanted to use materials that we had, so that I spent $0 dollars on the restore of this cabinet. I took apart a pallet and used the wood for the top. Staining after getting all of the staples and nails out and cutting them to size.
I spray painted the same pulls to reuse them and added reclaimed thin wood to the door for more character.
Very pleased with the results of this piece of trash!

Beautiful, love that you kept the door dark wood. Really unique. My boyfriends laughs at my DIY too, but he knows we have a nice place. Lol!

The door was painted white with contact paper over it - ugh! So I cut reclaimed wood planks and added them to the door to match the top. Having trouble with the hinges now that I did that - so having to redo the hinges to make the door shut. Oh, the trouble we DIYers go through for a simple project! Lol
