My oldest son and his fiancee recently traded in their college apartment for a beautiful apartment in a nice suburb. They didn't feel their old furniture fit their new digs. So, Mom to the rescue. i was able to help them furnish their apartment for less than $44. To see all of the furniture makeover you can check it out on our blog.

Kim Dagenais on Jan 05, 2014You did a Flipping Great Job. Did you use a paint brush, roller or spray paint for the tables and bed? I love flipping furniture, and I am always on the lookout for great deals on the local online ads. I usually keep most of what I refinish, but sell a couple of pieces here and there for profit. I have enough furniture to keep me going for a little bit. LOL

Kim Dagenais on Jan 06, 2014Hi Stephanie You did such a great job, that the furniture looks flawless. Looks like you used a small sponge roller, because I don't see paint strokes. I use both paint brush on hard to get to areas, and then a small sponge roller. Sure it is double the work to clean, but so much faster, and smoother. I would love to find a coffee table like you got for your son, and paint it. I have a big oval modern glass type coffee table, and would like a change. I think I will check out the local ads to see what I can find. My husband will have something to say about that, as I have alot of furniture in the basement already that are lined up to be refinished or flipped. LOL Again great job.

Stephanie @ Furniture Flippin' on Jan 07, 2014@Kim Dagenais No, it was a regular paint brush not foam. We used latex paint. I've never used a sponge roller. Not yet, anyway. lol
