Front Door Makeover: Navy and Gold

I love my front door. It's an original hard wood door with a funky chevron pattern. I originally painted it turquoise nearly a year ago. I didn't love it. After scrapping/sanding/stripping five layers of paint off, it's now navy complete with gold handles. I'm crazy in love! My door is now the mature lady of the street.
A quick FIY: prepping an old door for it's new coat of paint is time consuming. Please always take lead paint into consideration and take appropriate precautions. I'm talking face mask and gloves here.
This project took two days with prep, undercoat, paint, dry and paint, paint, pain time. Very worth it and reasonably cheap.
I used a high gloss outdoor quality (water clean up) paint and metallic gold spray paint.
