i bought some magic sponges off the shopping channel you just wet them and rub what you want to clean unbelievably they work no chemicals no detergent just water brilliant i think the channel is called something like ideal world they are online too

Baking soda and make a paste with a bit of water and use your scrubby or sponge to clean. Will not scratch. Then wipe up with warm wet rag. Baking soda is cheap and works for a multitude of things.

I sprinkle baking soda on the undesirable stove areas and then I spray with vinegar .. let it sit for 15 -30 minutes and then wipe away .. Easy as 123
