KathiT on Oct 09, 2016I'm currently addicted to chalk painting furniture. You don't need to sand or strip, it's easy to get a nice distressed look, and with new hardware, this piece would look amazing!Helpful Reply

KathiT on Oct 09, 2016Jhroyko- I actually just did all my kitchen cabinets with chalk paint, and used a small amount of gel stain to "distress" it, instead of sanding. I wrapped a small piece of a t-shirt around my finger, dipped it in a little of the stain, swiped it down the edges, and immediately wiped it off with a clean piece of t-shirt. Worked great! Make sure you wear latex gloves, though- you'll stain your fingers!!Helpful Reply
