My Dresser I Use as a Foyer Chest in My New Home in AZ.

I spray painted it in aluminum and then put a black glaze over the top. It was quick and easy! I did the same affect on the mirror which was not made to go with the chest but I turned it upside down for some interest and put votive candles on the top. I just got it done so have to rethink about what I want on the chest.

I love this, great choice on the paint and glase. I have a small chest in spare bedroom and was thinking of doing silver leaf but this seems like it would be a whole lot cheaper and a lot less work. I would put a lamp on mine and a tall vase with some branches in it, maybe a little tray for keys, change or mail. Beautiful, you have inspired me, thanks and best of luck with hubby.

Since this original post, we have moved to a different home in the same community. I still used the chest in the foyer. I get many compliments on it still. Let me know if you should go ahead and do your chest.
