Hiding compost bin
-
Heather Bayliss on Sep 29, 2013I recently saw something that makes composting both easier and interesting... look up "keyhole garden" - they build them in South Africa where the soil is poor - but these work wonderfully to grow veggies! I love the idea and plan to implement it too. I only recently found it - so I don't have anything built yet.Helpful Reply

Nicky on Sep 29, 2013Thank you so much! I have looked up the link. I have been lucky enough to visit South Africa from the UK. I love that place. I will try to photo this bin tomorrow. I think it has to come out it has been there 5 years and has never produced any compost from the bottom flap although I don't think I should have put twigs in it. This would be really great for me because I have back trouble and find bending quite hard. Thanks again!Helpful Reply
