We hang ours from the ceiling in an out-of-the-way place in the house.

Oops, I wasn't finished. We hang ours with big C hooks that are screwed into beams.

You can hang a bike with large ceiling plant hangers, measure with a partner holding bike the way and where you want it to hang, mark and pre drill for the screw end of the hook. you may wish to use a plastic hole insert for support. Good luck!

I know if you contact a local bike shop you will be able to purchase a hanger. I have seen plenty of pictures of bikes mounted on the walls of apartments. What´s a city person supposed to do? When you put up the hanger add some pictures of old bicycles or anything bike related on the wall around it. Make it part of your decorating.Who knows, you may have the start of a great conversation piece started! Good luck.
