KMS Woodworks on Sep 30, 2013Glass would be more durable but may tend to get fine scratches in time. I'm not sure what your "medium gloss gel" is. I have also used many version of oil and water based poly and well as spray lacquer. My all time fav is oil based wiping poly.Helpful Reply
