Jewelry Holder From Old Seat

While working on some old french provincial styled chairs I realized the seats weren't safe and would have to be replaced. I set the seats aside until I could decide what to do with them because they were too pretty to throw out.
The caning on this was still in good shape and the back was screwed together to reinforce where the caning holes were falling apart.
I painted it white, distressed the edges to highlight the shape and sealed it with wax. Once it was cured I added screws to the bottom and picture hangers to the back.
Hang it up and add the jewelry for a perfect upcycled project. I added a few S hooks into some of the cane holes for other items, such as the bracelets. With S hooks you could hold anything you want - kitchen utensils, keys, etc.
