Garden roof against rain
Looking for a good and not expansive idea for a roof 2*3 meters for the garden, to keep my garden chairs dry when rains... Thank you!

KMS Woodworks on Oct 02, 2013You could build a pergola...that has a slight pitch to it. This could then be covered with some corrugated panels. Another lower cost option though not as durable would be an awning. http://www.superiorawning.com/ Free standing complete structures or one of the "shade sail" types.Helpful Reply

CDC Contracting Inc. on Oct 02, 2013The corrugated idea is not bad cause u can go with a plastic roof panel. As a Master Elite Roofer in Long Island I can offer you some really good advise. If you are looking for something better you can build a flat roof sky light fabricated to that size. The advantage in addition to the beauty would be that no leaves and water fall in. This would be pitched so that you don't need to worry about the snow. Self adhesive flat roof system would be a more frugal option, and even more frugal than that would be a pergola with a translucent corrugated roof panel. You can contact me if you want more information http://www.cdccontracting.net GAF contractors would be worth hiring for any weatherproofing type job as that is part of their program you can visit my weatherproofing GAF page http://www.gaf.com/Roofing/Residential/Contractors/Profile/ME22517Helpful Reply
