Homemade Lysol - How to Make a Non-Toxic Version

Whether it’s cold and flu season, or you need to sanitize a mess, Lysol is a main-stay in every home. But I am not a fan of the chemical and toxic ingredients. Let me show you how you can make your own non-toxic and yummy smelling version in just a few minutes….
According to the Environmental Working Group, Lysol’s disinfecting sprays all received an “F” rating. As in… failure. Lysol contains MIPA-Borate which is known to cause developmental, endocrine, and reproductive problems. It also contains ammonium hydroxide and ethanolamine which is harmful to the respiratory system, is an irritant to the skin, and causes damage to vision. Other chemicals are linked to cancer. Some of Lysol’s ingredients are registered as pesticides with the EPA.
This DIY version only requires two ingredients and smells fresh and clean like an autumn day. No chemicals!
