Lifted veneer on old dresser
-
KMS Woodworks on Oct 02, 2013Many veneer repair can be done by lifting the damaged area and forcing some wood glue into the space. Often a thin putty knife or xacto blade can be used to lift up the wood. After the glue is applied some painters tape and weight can be used to hold it down while the glue dries. squeeze out can then be lightly sanded after its fully dry.Helpful Reply

Sheila on Oct 05, 2013The veneer is buckled in one spot so I won't have to lift it to get the glue in. I think I should have some clamps in the garage to help hold it together until it dries. Thanks for your help!Helpful Reply
