Organize Your Kitchen For The Holidays & Beyond

I realize it’s just October and I do not want to bombard you with the holiday season too soon. I refuse to jump the gun like the retailers, but as an organizer, I feel the sooner you get things under control, the better. Let’s organize your kitchen for the holiday season and beyond. It’s the “beyond” that we will focus on. 🙂
It's all about the packaging. I use upcycled bottles to hold my seasoning that I keep on the counter and I also use trays to put the containers in so the counters are not cluttered.
Before you ask, yessss those are Patron bottles. Although I love pretty, I also love to recycle and I have become the bottle lady in my circle. 🙂 I am always asking everyone to save their bottles and jars for me. Especially the odd shaped or pretty ones. I also keep jars as well. Pickle jars, peanut butter jars, you name it, I keep them. Some get painted and decoupaged. Tutorial coming soon. :)
Even if there are some items on the counter out of necessity, you can find ways to make them attractive and appear to be a part of the décor of the overall kitchen. Coral them, paint the containers, place them in trays or in cabinets if you have the space, but make it organized and attractive. As you can see, I store all of my counter stuff in trays. And I try to add decorative items in there as well.

Very Nice. I just asked my husband to rinse out cans last night to make a tin man for my garden. I will add bottles to the list now!

Hi Stephanie. Thank you. Enlist the help of your friends too. :) They will just toss their bottles if you don't. I also love to paint them. I recently sold this set. :) So start collecting those bottles.
