Chalk Paint Redo

This is the 1st time I have every used chalk paint and I can see why everyone loves it! I had a dark oak shaving stand that I have had for about 30 years and was tired of it. I used a free paint sample from Lowes - Valspar Tagsale Linen. I also used the Webster's Powder Chalk Paint. 2 Tablespoons + 1 T. water +1 cup paint. It took 2 coats.
The chalk paint covers amazingly well and dries to a flat finish. I only waited a couple hours between the 2 coats. I used minwax paste wax to give it a protective finish. It gives it a nice rich sheen.
I forgot to take a before picture but found this one in one of my albums. I really need to work on my picture taking ability.

Very pretty color, but I cringed that you painted such a nice vintage piece of furniture.

@Linda Have you been talking to my husband? He thought I was crazy but sometimes you just need a change. I was really to donate it, the paint job saved it.
