The Ultimate Dumpster Diving Flip Aka "Dumpster Dresser"
This furniture flip remains my all-time favorite of all the ones my husband and I have done to date. We had originally planned to sell it, but can't part with it. It was a family affair. From my daughter and I hoisting it out a dumpster then dragging it home. To my son helping with the sanding. I did the designing of it and finishing work on it, while my husband did the woodworking and heavy metal work. It's affectionately referred to as "Dumpster Dresser" in our house.
Ugly Mint Green Dresser to Industrial Looking Heavy Metal Entertainment Center
This is what we dragged out of a dumpster. Mint green, falling apart and missing a drawer. Is there hope for it? Of course!

All done! TV goes on top, cable box and game system on open shelves.
Wrapped in metal all the way around. The finish looks oil soaked.

Yep, but well worth it. This flatlander discovered the joys of living in the mountains. I feel like I've come home.
