I visited the Leura Garden Festival 2013 this morning. I did a post recently on 2012's festival and posted 36 photos. These pictures were taken from the first 4 gardens of the ten on display. I will be going back to view the remainder for sure! I will update this post again when I have more photos - in the meantime - take a peek!

@Douglas Hunt Hi Douglas, another good one for garden lovers to visit in Australia is the annual Floriade that takes place each spring in Canberra ACT (Australian Capital Territory). Bulbs laid out in themed patterns as far as the eye can see - tulips, hyacinths, muscari or grape hyacinth, crocus, and so on planted en masse. Of course much more formal than the mountains gardens which are for the most part privately owned gardens. The Floriade runs for a month and is in Commonwealth Park. Visitors flock to the area every spring. We went a few years ago with friends and took so many photos. Unfortunately, not on digital camera at that time or I could have shown some here. Maybe another one for your bucket list!
  • Thanks for the great tour Carole. It's nice to see spring gardens as we slowly move into winter.
