Try making a paste with Bon Ami and water.Baking soda and water or bar keepers friend and water. Apply rubbing in a circular motion to aid in breaking up the burnt surface. Once the stain is gone follow with white vinegar and water with a micro fiber cloth.

Take baking soda and water and make a paste applying over stain. Take a paper towel and dampen it also. Place over the area and let it sit until almost dry. Use the paper towel to rub the stain away. I have used a plastic pan scraper on raised stains to help break up also. I believe you could also ad some coarse salt.

It was recommended to me to use Vim cream cleaner. I also use a non-scratch pot scrubber that works great. here is the link http://www.relishcookingstudio.com/product/th...

Had a Jenn aire glass top stove and they suggested glass top stove cleaner and a razor blade at a 45 degree angle to scrape off any burnt on foods. I used Weimans stove top cleaner found at Walmart and Lowes.

I have used Magic Eraser on my smooth cooktop and it has cleaned it beautifully and not damaged it at all.

Try gently scraping the spot with a single edge razor blade

My new glass stove top came up one of those razor blade scrappers and it works perfectly.I figured if they included one it was the suggested method or I would have been a bit concerned.

This is going to sound a little crazy but it works. First take a Scotch-Brite scrubvie (dry)

This will take off any dried or burnt on food.

If you have any grease residue make a hot cup of coffee. (Black) put it in the microwave if you need to get needs to be really hot but not boiling In small amounts for coffee onto glass cooktop carefully wipe up with paper towels.

If you see any land from the paper towel using Microfiber cloth to remove any paper towel residue. This really really works

Sorry for the messed up words this autotype never seems to understand my southern accent 1. Green scrubbie

2.. if you see any paper towel lint use the microfiber cloth.
