Faux Grain Sack Table and Chairs
I recently had a client who wanted a table and chair set with French country look. I found this set and painted it a white and shabbied it a bit. When it came time to redo the chair cushions she wanted grain sacks on them. Well I immediately went to my grain sack closet! NOT! I wasn't even sure where to get them. I know living in IA it shouldn't be that hard! I managed to find two coffee sacks and then I was stumped what to do with other two chairs, Then it clicked why not use burlap and paint grain sack stripes in a coordinating color to the other two! So I carefully taped off the lines with green painters tape and filled them in. She loved it when she saw it .I love this look and use it a bit here lately mixing it up with the lines.
