Step by Step Furnace Inspection

Bardi Heating and Air
by Bardi Heating and Air
Here are a few steps that Bardi Heating and Air takes during a furnace inspection:
Step 1: We check the air filters to make sure they're clean. Clean filters result in better breathing and fewer allergies. Dirty air filters will be covered in dust and debris. Typically if we see that the filter is dirty we'll replace it with one of our extras.
Step 2: We use a tool called a meter that measures voltage and checks to see if the motors are working correctly. This helps to properly catch the warning signals that could result in a system breakdown.
Step 3: We ensure that carbon monoxide is vacuumed away from the home through the flue pipes instead of inside the home, which is a health hazard.
Step 4: We monitor the flame sensor, which notifies the system that a flame is present so that the burners remain burning. If there's a buildup around the sensor, we'll remove it using sandpaper.
Step 5: We inspect the blower wheel to ensure it wasn't filled with debris.
