Small Kitchen Ideas: DIY Magnetic Spice Rack

Storing spices on the wall is a great way of freeing up precious cabinet space in a small kitchen. I made my own DIY wall spice rack by using a pizza pan with magnetic spice containers – the colorful spices will also doubles as artwork!
I also made my own magnetic spice containers with store bought spices by simply gluing magnets (from the dollar store) to the bottom of small round spice containers – I used liquid nails glue. For square spice containers, you can glue thin magnetic sheeting material on the back.
Time: 30 Minutes Difficulty: Easy

    Awesome idea! I have such a tiny kitchen with almost no cabinets. But I DO have quite a bit of wall space I could use.

    I love this idea; I tried doing this but with the tape backed clips. To my disappointment, it didn't work, they won't stay stuck on the pan, kept falling off, sometimes all the spice fell out & I had to clean all that up too. I am going to keep the

    I have the PERFECT PIZZA PAN for this! It was never good for pizza but might work for this if it's not aluminum!

      If it is aluminum, you can spray it with a magnetic spray paint. 2-3 coats should be sufficient for holding spices. Or glue magnets to the backside (from Hobby store).
