Here is an easy Burlap & fall Leaves Runner I made for $2.
Before I show you how I made it, here’s a peek at my Fall table today. Now keep in mind I’m the “Pink Roses” girl. I’m the one that has pink dishes n glassware overflowing, so I really had to shop my house and get creative.
Now let’s see this table in a month and it should be much improved…but for now it’s not too bad. I’m on a budget and as newer blogger I’d like to bring you many Diy projects and decorating ideas that we can do on a budget.
Here’s what you need:
2 packs of Fall Felt leaves $1.00 each from Dollar Tree Store
1 piece of Burlap 18″ x 84″ – mine came out of a big bag I got at a thrift store
Hot Glue Gun
How to make it:
1. Cut your burlap into length of your runner. I chose 18″ x 84″ but you can do any length.
2. Layout your leaves into the color combination you want. Begin to glue each leave one by one by dabbing the glue on the top back of leaf.
3. Glue all six leaves across and then layer the 2nd row and begin gluing those as well.
That’s it, easy peasy right?? You can mix a lot of pretty colored dishes, of course we love Orange too.
How easy is that?? You can do it or get your kids to help you!
Hope you like my Fall Leaves Runner! Lots more fun stuff coming. Thanks for stopping by, Lisa

KathrynElizabeth Etier on Jan 15, 2015This is a great idea! I like the idea of using those Dollar Tree felt leaves because the shapes are offered throughout the year so the pattern is adaptable throughout the year for other seasons and holidays.
