DEB on Nov 01, 2016Try vinegar - saturate a rag and let it sit on it for an hour and then rinse it and it should be gone. We have trouble here in Fla with the water doing that especially on my water dispenser on the fridge. This works good for me.Helpful Reply

Liz on Nov 17, 2016You've been given some good ideas, especially Janet's. However, sounds like your faucet had the chrome poorly applied by the manufacturer. This means the problem is likely to keep happening. You can thoroughly clean /sand your chrome, apply a rust protective primer, and then a metal paint in the color of the chrome. Finally, seal this paint with several coats of clear spray. It helps to wipe your chrome faucet dry after every use, once you have re-coated it. Good luck.Helpful Reply
