How can I redo a root cellar under the porch for extra storage

Rosemary Hesse on Oct 12, 2013I painted my walls with DRYLOCK and then I rotate on a regular basis a item that absorbs water or if you have an outlet you could use a dehumidifier.Helpful Reply

Dee on Jun 11, 2015If you want to create 'walls' and shelving, use cedar fence boards (rough cut are probably cheaper). The cedar absorbs moisture without rotting as quickly as other boards, and the scent would certainly improve (as well as discourage critters & insects).Helpful Reply
