Cozy DIY Corner Dining Booth on a Small Manhattan Balcony
by

Here are the benches I posted earlier in the completed outdoor dining area that I built on my 5ft x 9ft balcony. I wanted some privacy from the neighbors but still enjoy the view of Manhattan so I designed and built 2 privacy panels to make a corner booth on one side of the balcony - perfect for entertaining friends on warm summer evenings!
The panels are very simple and inexpensive to build with 1"x3" pine boards and an outdoor chair cushion from IKEA - you can see a video on how to build them, as well as the complete list of materials, tools and supplies that you will need here: http://www.engineeryourspace.com/how-to-create-an-outdoor-balcony-dining-area/

LOVE what you have done...keeps out noise, gives privacy, fresh air, and very cosy!! GREAT JOB, a total winner. :)
