Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Oct 13, 2013Have you checked out lumber mills? They often have wood that cannot be really used for anything because of knots, bark edges etc. If your a non-profit rescue they may be able to help you out. If your looking for cabinets also, you need to go to cabinet shops that have damaged products that they would normally just discard. As someone in our area that works with horse rescue groups as well. Its tough as well as expensive so I understand what your having to deal with.Helpful Reply

Cindy Justice on Oct 17, 2013Actually, it was limited help. I realize there is Home Talk, and shows like "This Old House,," Wood rite Shop shows, but really wondered if your folks ever take the left over lumber from shows, demos etc. to donate to large animal rescue facilities instead of shipping off in the trash and too the dump. So many animal shelters across this country are in need of building materials to either patch or build walk in shelters for their ever growing number of rescues on a daily basis to address basic needs of their animals they care for and receive little to support their efforts. Many of these shelters are non profit which allows greater orgs like yourselves to serve a greater purpose and record it as a tax write off donation by doing something for the greater good of others. I would like to hear back on what you have say.Helpful Reply
