Building a brick mailbox

Does anyone have any patterns for brick mail boxes?

Not so sure about any pattern, but you should purchase a steel or aluminum mailbox to brick around. A brick only unit is porous and will allow water to seep in to the area where the mail will be located. Placing a mailbox into the brick will prevent water from getting in and ruining the mail. As far as any pattern, It can be as simple as a square or more complicated with lights etc. The style you would choose would be something along the design of the house or your exterior decor.

Thank you, but we've solved the probem. We ordered a cast iron one. New Orleans style, just like we had before But thanks for the advice
