I used Mr. Clean GAIN to steam clean my shiny tile floors and now there's this tacky residue. How can I remove this residue?

Try cleaning them with just white vinegar.

..and very hot water, wipe dry with clean mop or towel to get up the current soap film gummy residue.

Soak a clean rag with hot water and wring it out until it's barely damp. Lay it over the sticky spot and leave it in place for 15 minutes to loosen the residue. Mix up to 1 cup white vinegar with a gallon of hot water in a mop bucket. Mop the floor with the vinegar solution. The vinegar cuts through the loosened sticky residue and any dirt attracted to the sticky spot. Mop the floor with clear hot water to remove the vinegar residue. Wipe dry with a clean rag to prevent water spots.

Repeat cleaning your tile floors with water only and towel dry. Most floor steamers cannot use anything but water. The steam will clean and deodorize and the floor will dry very quickly without towel drying.

    Vinegar and water should work.

NO, no mop. I use a hand sprayer with vinegar or hydrogen peroxide or simple green on my shiny porcelain tiles and then steam it. I don't put anything in the steamer but distilled water. I try a lot of products this way without destroying my little steamer.
