Make Gentle, Foaming Soap

I recently wrote about why we don’t use antibacterial soap. While the kids love foaming soap, I don’t like to pay the prices for Method or the other fancy brands.
The secret ingredient here is the vegetable glycerine, which is moisturizing and gives the soap a luxurious feel. It’s gentle but cleans well–perfect for washing your face or scrubbing the kids in the bath.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup distilled water
1 teaspoon vegetable glycerine
1/3 cup castile soap
15 drops essential oil of your choice (I used this)
Foaming hand soap dispenser (the ones from the stinky bath store work great)
Add ingredients to dispenser in the order listed. If you put the soap in first, everything else you add will cause a foaming mess. Put the lid on, shake gently, and scrub-a-dub-dub!
You can make your own moisturizing foaming hand soap for pennies and add any scent you like. Plus it won’t have any weird chemicals that could irritate your skin.
