How to Can Peaches as Home

Every year we take a trip to one of the local orchards to pick peaches. We get anywhere from 3-5 bushels to bring home and can. Canning isn't a hard process once you get the hang of it and it's worth the effort it takes. There's nothing better than eating local, home canned peaches in the middle of winter!

Debbie Machmer on Aug 16, 2014dip peaches in a boiling bath, rinse with cold water and those skins slip right off! I put the peaches in a bowl of fruit fresh water while I cut them up. Easy peasy.
