Blue Kelly on Oct 21, 2013i am trying a homemade recipe using orange peels covered with vinegar, i will post how it turns out if anyone is interested. i bet i am not the only person tired of too many chemicals and not able to afford the "natural" cleaners.

FERN VITENSE on Oct 21, 2013I MAKE MY OWN MAGIC CLEANER. 1 CUP BAKING SODA. 1 CUP BORAX. 1 CUP PICKLE/CANNING SALT. MIX TOGETHER 1 CUP HYDROGEN PEROXIDE 3 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE. POUR THIS OVER DRY MIX. TO USE PLACE SMALL AMOUNT ON DAMP SPONGE AND SCRUB AWAY. THEN RINSE WITH CLEAN DAMP SPONGE. THIS WORKS GREAT ON MY WHITE FRIG. I STORE IN PLASTIC JAR WITH LID, LASTS A LONG TIME.
