    I have painted tile back-splash and because the mural was still in pieces I was able to bake them to set the enamel paint. Most of the enamel paint will set up/cure within 21 days, if not fired. If this table is used a lot, I would paint a design on the tile, let stand for 21 days or longer then have a piece of glass cut and placed on top to preserve the art work.

    I painted the tile in our kitchen by sanding first using Kilz primer allowing it to dry and then painting. Turned out nice.
