Time to Plant Amaryllis for Winter Blooms

Do you grow amaryllis bulbs in your house during the winter? To me, there is nothing more welcoming than those big red flowers greeting me in the kitchen on a cold January morning. Now is the time to start them for December blooms.

Debbie Sigle on Oct 23, 2013I started with one and I now have 7..I didn't know that I could grow them in the house in the winter. I guess I better get moving and find a place in the house for them. thanks
