Tin Heart Ornaments

Homeroad
by Homeroad
After finding a stash of small tin tiles at the thrift store I brought them home and created beautiful ornaments for the holidays or for special gifts.
Please visit Homeroad for additional information.
These tin heart ornaments make gorgeous gifts or holiday ornaments!
Tin tiles found at the thrift store in several different finishes; gold, silver, and brass.
Using household scissors, I cut them into heart shapes.
Using chalk paint I painted both sides, sanded to bring out the embossing, and then waxed for protection.
I punched a small hole in both the top and the bottom of the heart for recycled chandelier bling.
A ribbon is tied on each heart and the heart is ready to hang.

I really like these and am hunting for some ornaments I can make fairly big, the ones I've been using are much too small.....need to find some tins fast! Great job.
