Don't you hate throwing away beautiful old Christmas cards? Here's a great way to upcycle them into ornaments to admire year after year!
If you're like me, you've accumulated a rather large stash of pretty Christmas cards, sitting in a box somewhere. This is the perfect upcycle project to turn them into beautiful ornaments for your tree!
Fold a triangle on each circle, then hot glue them together in a strip like this. This will be the middle to your ornament.Careful not to burn your fingers!
Then you'll put some more circles together into a pie shape, like this. This will form the top and bottom of your ornament. Don't forget to add a ribbon to the top of your ornament.
When you have a top, bottom, and a side, glue them all together into an ornament.
Aren't they pretty?
I keep adding to my stash of Christmas card ornaments each year with more and more cards. I love how beautiful and unique they all are! Find the full step-by-step instructions on my blog (plus a free Silhouette cut file) here - http://www.unoriginalmom.com/christmas-card-ornaments/

Thank you!! I will check out your blog post. I have always wondered how to make these. And I’m so glad I’m not the only one with old Christmas cards “in a box somewhere”. 🎅🎄🤶
