Painting my front door

I need to paint my front door and I found areas where the previous paint stuck to the door frame showing the old paint color. I cannot stand the sound or the feel of sandpaper. I tried a scraper and that doesn't work. Any ideas?

Use citristrip to remove the unwanted paint. This is a non-toxic paint remover with no sanding.

You can also use Goof Off Remover. Use a cotton ball, paper towel, cloth, and dab on the paint. Let it set to soften the paint and scrape off.

Goof off has such a strong chemical smell it gives me a headache. Is the Citristrip any better?

Grab a disposible mask when you buy the Goof Off. Spray a very itle amount of your favorite perfum in the mask or use Essential Oils. make sure the mask is secure over your nose. The mask should have a light metal piece over the nose to allow the mask to fit snuggly. Paint removal substances are harsh.
