How To Make A Cat House/End Table
My cat Buddy used to be an outdoor cat and still loves to be outside on our screened porch even when it's cold outside. Being a cat momma who worries too much, I thought giving him a little cat cave/cat house shelter would help keep him warm during the cooler days- plus we needed an end table, so I designed something that would fill both needs.
My husband loves to build thins, so he set off to the big box store nearby and purchased some supplies.
He cut the pieces out of plywood
He glued each joint before screwing them together and cut out a hole so Buddy could get in and out. The cleats inside hold a shelf where things can be stored.
Here's the shelf inside
Leggs were added on the 4 corners.
The little hole in the back is for the cord for an outdoor heating pad made just for outdoor use. The pad doesn't get too warm like a regular heating pad because it's made just for outdoor pets.
